Why money shouldn’t be the main definition of success

What is your definition of success? Some people may say your income level defines your success.

I discussed my definition of success with Zach White recently on his new podcast show, The Happy Engineer.

For me—while money is important—it shouldn’t be the defining factor.

Success is having the ability to live the kind of life you want to live.

It’s about striking the right balance between work, relationships, and doing what you love to do.

It’s about answering yes to the question: “Am I able to live the kind of life I want to live right now?”

If your answer is no, that’s okay!

Are you ready to develop the system that’ll turn it into a yes?

If you’d like to listen to the full episode, you can find it on The Happy Engineer. If you’re interested in building a system for success, check out Dave’s courses on LinkedIn Learning at davecrenshaw.com/learn.
