Boundaries aren’t just for healthy relationships and well-raised children. The same is true for success in your career.
You need to set boundaries in order to succeed. Otherwise, you’ll eventually burn out before reaching your goals! What kind of boundaries are we talking about?
Here are just a few that come to mind:
• A set start and end time for your work day.
• Regular days off each week.
• Spending more time doing your most
valuable activities, and less on the least valuable ones.
If you need help, set a timer or have an accountability partner give you a gentle, yet firm, reminder.
As a good friend of mine recently said, our brains and bodies have limits. It’s time to acknowledge this fact and live accordingly.
