My perspective is: every entrepreneur needs a business coach. Even though I coach business owners, I have a business coach myself.

But what are the traits that you should be looking for in finding a good coach for you?

Let me share a few with you:

  1. Discretion. The ability to choose—among all the different things you might improve in a given moment—one thing.
  2. Love. You need to work with someone that you know sincerely cares about you and your business.
  3. Courage. In particular, the courage to say things to you that you don’t want to hear.
  4. A focus on results. Every meeting that you have with your business coach should have a clear action and a clear result associated with it.

Now, I’d like you to share in the comments section below, based on your experience with all the coaches you’ve had in your life, what traits have you seen make a great coach? Share that below.

Also, if you’ve got a question that you’d like me to answer in a future video, ask that below as well.

Thanks for watching. Now go make yourself accountable to someone.
