My perspective is: every entrepreneur needs a business coach. Even though I coach business owners, I have a business coach myself.
But what are the traits that you should be looking for in finding a good coach for you?
Let me share a few with you:
- Discretion. The ability to choose—among all the different things you might improve in a given moment—one thing.
- Love. You need to work with someone that you know sincerely cares about you and your business.
- Courage. In particular, the courage to say things to you that you don’t want to hear.
- A focus on results. Every meeting that you have with your business coach should have a clear action and a clear result associated with it.
