Entrepreneurs have a tendency to lose focus–especially when it comes to the performance of their small business. Too much information can impair your vision, distracting you from what really matters.

That’s why today’s short and sweet slice is focused on one thing: the one most valuable thing indicating your small business success. It’s probably not what you’re thinking…

In my book The Focused Business, I talked about MVIs or most valuable indicators. These are numbers you use to measure the success of your business.

I recommended that business owners choose two MVIs on their own. Now I’d like to [update this suggestion by making one of these wild card indicators] the “Why” MVI.

The “Why” MVI gets to the heart of what really matters, what’s really important in your business.

For instance, if you’re a school, you might measure how many children you educated. Or if you have a media entertainment company, it might be how many people do you entertain.

This “Why” MVI keeps the focus on what is most important in your motive in your business.

So, what I’d like you to do in the comment section below is share what you believe your “Why” MVI is and I’ll share mine to get you started.

Also, if you have any questions you’d like me to answer in a future video, ask that below as well.

Thanks for watching. Now go focus on your why.
