Is our 3 yeard old a productivity genius or madman?

My wife just sent this email. I thought I should share. She was on the phone with her mom for a while, and then realized what our son has done:

All my pillows and blankets had been given a new home, seemingly strategically placed around the floor.  The toy “garage” had been cleared out – it’s contents also had new homes all throughout the house and the garage had been filled with the shoes from the shoe closet.  All the remotes, Kleenex boxes, and coasters had found new homes.  The kitchen chairs had all been switched around.  Even the kitchen towels and fruit had new homes in the family room.  Then, I opened the closets …  all the toys had been removed to new areas of the house or reorganized in the closet.  The game/project closet contents had all been switched around.  Luckily, I stopped him before he reorganized the pantry and my office cupboards.  I did however go upstairs to find my bedside table had also been reorganized for me.  The funny thing is, nothing had just been pulled out and thrown somewhere, everything had been given a new home – under the kitchen table or some little nook or cranny around the house.  I can’t say the homes all made sense, but everything had it’s own designated spot!

Luckily, he is also very good at putting things back where they really belong. 🙂

At least he understands that everything has a home!
