- Abdication means hoping someone else will take care of one your roles.
- The Order of Abdication has five steps:
- Hire someone
- Tell them to fill a need
- Find out they can’t do it
- Fire them
- Return to step one
- Not only is the Order of Abdication very time consuming, it’s also incredibly costly to a business.
- In comparison, the last step of the Order of Offloading is to make a new hire.
- Personal systems refer to the way(s) that you as an individual operate (e.g. handling emails, faxes, ideas).
- By improving business systems, you can discover inefficiencies and make big gains with the resources you already have.
