Remember that moment? You know, that little thing that signified a benchmark for personal success? Did you let it fly by? Maybe it was a next-level client, or generating higher revenue, or…heck…a new baby!  Well, guess what? You did it! Congratulations!

…so, what happens next?

For some reason, entrepreneurs have a tendency to wolf down life’s most savory morsels instead of sitting back and drinking them in. If life, for you, is what happens while you’re busy making other plans, you need to watch this 80 second slice. And, please, savor what you are about to watch.

When you experience success, do you savor it? Do you take in these good moments and recognize them?

This is a common problem for many entrepreneurs. Even once I experienced this; as I was processing through my inbox quickly, there was a picture from my daughter. And I was just flying past it and just filling it away.

Then I realized I needed to follow my own system that I teach to clients. Here’s the process:

Number one, you mentally acknowledge it. “That was so nice to get that card from Ella.”

Number two, you emotionally acknowledge it by asking the question: “How did that make me feel?”

And then number three, you verbally acknowledge it by saying out loud: “That was so nice to get that from her.”

That will help you start to recognize these moments when they happen.

Now, I would love to hear from you. What tips do you have to help other entrepreneurs better recognize these good moments when they happen? Please share that in the comments section below.

Also ,if you have a question you’d like me to answer, ask that below as well.

Thanks for watching. Now please savor the moment.
