How to develop your personal brand story with Chelsea Krost

Do you have a “personal brand” yet? You’ve probably heard that you need one. Yet, if you’re like most people, you have no idea where to start. I have a fellow LinkedIn Learning instructor, Chelsea Krost, to shed some light on the subject. After all, she’s the expert!

Chelsea recommends using a formula she calls the “Three C’s” to craft your personal branding story:

  1. Character – Who you are as a person.
  2. Conflict – A moment of breakdown that changed your mindset and set you in the right direction
  3. Conclusion – How you used the conflict moment to create your career path.

Use a summarized version of this in your LinkedIn profile to tell your story.

My conflict moment was when I was diagnosed as “off the charts ADHD.” I used this as a guiding moment to build my current career as a LinkedIn Learning instructor, author, and speaker.

What was your conflict moment that put you where you are today?
