In painting—and in work—an unexpected brushstroke can become something better than the original plan.
History proves it. Microwave ovens. Matchsticks. Post-it Notes. All are born from “mistakes.”
So the next time something goes sideways at work, pause and ask:
Is this mistake actually useful?
Would a variation of it be useful?
If not, what can I improve to prevent it from happening again?
Mistakes don’t have to be dead ends. They can be fuel for creativity, innovation, and growth.
Before you rush to fix it… consider that it might just be a happy accident. 🎨
