How to differentiate yourself as a leader

Shouldn’t I copy what other great leaders are doing if I want to be a great leader, too?

I’m here with Stan Phelps, an accomplished speaker and author of the twelve “Goldfish” books. His specialty is how to use differentiation to stand out as a leader and a business. The best way to be a productive leader is to embrace what makes you DIFFERENT rather than emulating every other leader’s actions. In fact, Stan recommends that you overemphasize the things that make you unique—the qualities that differentiate you from the crowd—so you stand out from the crowd.

I would put it this way: spend LESS time doing low-value activities that anyone can do and spend MORE doing your most valuable activities!

What’s something unique about the work you do that makes you especially valuable? Please share it in the comments below!
