How a digital free zone improves focus

This past weekend my family and I escaped the hectic schedules of everyday life and stayed at a beautiful place called the High Country Lodge in Wyoming. Being here reminded me of a principle I teach in my course, Improving Your Focus, about creating a digital free zone. This place is a HUGE digital free zone where you are forced to disconnect from the online world of distractions and demands. It creates an environment where you can reconnect with yourself and your loved ones, and finally recharge your battery from the stresses in life.

The idea of being disconnected from the internet scares some people—while exciting others, but regardless of your reaction, it’s vital to your productivity! You don’t have to go to a lodge in Wyoming to enjoy a digital free zone, either, although it is breathtaking. You can create a “quiet room” at work to recharge during the day, or simply stop taking your phone to bed in the evening. You will get better sleep, which will restore your energy and focus at work the following day. Your productivity will increase by spending regular time in a digital free zone!

If you are interested in learning more about creating a digital free zone and growing your focus, you can get 30 days of free access to my course, Improving Your Focus, at DaveCrenshaw.com/Focus. Thank you for watching!
