One of the challenges of entrepreneurship is saying no to other people.

When people see that you’re being successful in your business, they ask you for help, and they ask you to participate in all sorts of things. How do you say no to those people?

Here are couple of tips:

  1. Ask for request by email. When you have a chance to look at it in an email, you can assess your calendar, look at how much time you have, and if necessary, craft a diplomatic response.
  2. Say no to consulting. This is a trap for many business owners who start to experience success and other people ask them to consult them about their business. I recommend that you stay far away from this and focus on making your business successful.

Now I’d like you to share in the comments section below. How do you say no to other people?

Also if you’ve got a question you’d like me to answer in a future video, ask that below as well.

Thanks for watching. Now go protect your time.
