When a customer decides to do business with your business for the first time, often the first place they look is Google. Yet it seems that too many small business owners are looking at Google last.

They have outdated search listings. They have outdated addresses and phone numbers. The pictures aren’t accurate, and they’re not responding to reviews. You want to respond to every single review that people make about your business, both the positive and the negative.

This is why I recommend that business owners have a weekly budget of time, maybe an hour or so, devoted to just googling your business and responding to these reviews.

I’d like you, in the comments section below, to share the best review you’ve ever gotten for your business and then how you responded to that review. And if you didn’t respond to it, how you respond to it now.

Also, if you’ve got a question you’d like me to answer in a future video, ask that below in the comment section.

Thanks for watching. Now Google your business.
