Leverage: The defining trait of entrepreneurs

People often wonder exactly what makes an entrepreneur tick. Are we born with some sort of toolkit for triumph, or are we just hard-wired for hard work? Contrary to popular belief, most don’t come pre-equipped for success.

Instead, they’ve learned how to use one simple tool to unlock prosperity. Today’s video is a 79-second lesson in that tool, and a not-so-subtle reminder to use it or lose it.

What makes an entrepreneur an entrepreneur? How are they different than anyone else?

In my mind it comes down to one word: leverage.

Now, a lever is something that allows you to lift more or do more than you would otherwise. It makes the most out of what you’ve been given.

And as an entrepreneur, you make the most out of how much cash you have, how many ideas you have, how many people you have. You make the most of it, you improve it and then you lever again.

The moment you feel you don’t have what you need to succeed is the moment you stop being an entrepreneur.

The truth is you have everything you need to succeed. All you need to do is leverage it.

Now, I’d like you to share in the comments section below one way in which you’ve made the most out of what you’ve been given.

Also, if you have any questions you’d like me to answer in a future video, ask that below as well.

Thanks for watching. Now make the most out of your day.
